December 13, 20196 yr Please excuse how new I am to NodeLink. I've installed Network Monitor. The reason is, I want to see that ISY is able to ping another machine on the network. Am I misunderstanding the use of this Device? I've set the "Ping Addresses:" to the desired machine to test. I check the log and I see lots of entries where Device = Network Monitor and Status is alternating "1" and "-1"
December 15, 20195 yr The -1 to 1 is just the heartbeat of NodeLink pinging (it tells you NodeLink is working). Each IP you add should show a separate node that gives a Status of its network.
December 16, 20195 yr Author AHHH! ok got it. This was my first NodeServer attempt. So this make lots of sense now.
January 2, 20205 yr Hi @io_guy I can't seem to get this module in NodeLink to work. When I add an IP (192.168.0.54) in the user interface then click Install ISY nodes, I get this in the log: 2020-01-02 15:30:18 - ISY Error: Web Error (FAILED) - NotFound (ns/1/nodes/n001_net1/report/status/ST/-1/25) 2020-01-02 15:30:25 - NetMon Add Error: Index was outside the bounds of the array. [net1] It does add two devices in the admin console - Network Monitor and Device 0. The network monitor heatbeat works but the Device 0 device does not. Its address is "n001_net1_ - Network Device" When I add additional IPs (separated by commas) NodeLink does not add additional devices to the admin console. Any help you can provide would be appreciated. Thanks!
