How to connect to PG&E meter via OADR using isy994i zw

I like my isy994i zw and I want to connect to my Smart Meter.

I see that the Smart Meter Module (SEP 1.1) $126.00 lets a ISY natively communicate with a Smart Meter but since I already have Z-Wave in my ISY configuration, I can not install this module. How can I communicate with a Smart Meter?

Here is my understanding;

If you need insteon, then there isnt a solution.

If you do not need insteon, you can add the external zwave with internal SEP.  This is what I have.

If you go the latter route, you will need to install a different version of the firmware if you do the beta thing.  No biggy, just have to download from universal devices manually versus clicking in the link in the beta announcements.

This post from a few months ago says "ISY994i supports INSTEON and you will need a PLM (2413S) for it to work, During the checkout, you have the option of adding Z-Wave or INSTEON support" so it seems that insteon and PG&E Smart Meter reading can both be accomplished, but do I need to purchase a ISY994i but during the checkout, I'll choose e the option of adding Z-Wave or INSTEON support. But what if I need Z-Wave AND Insteon?

Submit a ticket.  that would be the best way to get the end result you need.  I have the PRO and had to remove the insteon to add the SEP and then added on the external zwave.  No insteon for me.

I have the ISY994i ZW/IR PRO
