ahwman
Like many, I’m using Homebridge to make my ISY devices available to Homekit. That said, is it possible to make Homekit accessories available to the ISY? I have a Homekit Hunter ceiling fan which I would like to incorporate into an ISY program but haven’t found a way to expose my Homekit devices to my ISY via some sort of a bridge. Would Home Assistant work for this situation or is there a simpler way to accomplish this? Link to comment
simplextech
Homebridge see's ISY devices... Home Assistant see's ISY devices... ISY does not see devices from either of those two....If you have a ceiling fan that Homekit is aware of then it is probably Wifi but I doubt their API is open to other integrations otherwise Home Assistant would directly support the ceiling fan and probably other systems as well. I'm looking for a Polygot V2 node server that can control my new Hunter Apache WiFi Ceiling Fan. The fan shows up in HomeKit and [some?] cloud server to integrate to Google and Alexa. SIMPLEconnect® smart ceiling fans are the first to be HomeKit Certified by Apple, and one of the only Wi-Fi ceiling fans that work with Alexa, HomeKit, and Google Home. Link to comment
