ISY 99i pro and PLM problem

Hi all I am in need of some assistance. I am new at this stuff and have just received an ISY 99i pro and a PLM 2412s. I am having a problem communicating between the two of them. Whenever I plug in the PLM in the ISY will power up and then light the Power LED, RX LED, the TX LED, and then the MEM LED. After a second or so the MEM light goes out and then briefly after that the TX light goes out. The RX light continues to stay lit. I noticed that at the same time the TX light goes out there is a quick blink on the PLM. I have tried numerous cat5 cables and have done my best to make sure the pins are bent up for good contact. When I go into my administrative console and go to tools and check diagnostics I check the PLM status and it says its not connected. Please, any info would be great on what might be the issue.

Unfortunately it sounds as if your PLM is DOA. I have to suggest phoning your retailer for a replacement.
