ISY Web Console font size is too small

Featured Replies

Posted

While I have seen a number of posts on this I didn't find one that had a solution for font size looking too small when using the ISY web console on Windows 10.   When I launch the admin portal using https://isy.universal-devices.com/99i/ all of the text is very small regardless of how I configure the view under File/Themes/Font Size.

Any ideas how to adjust the DPI to increase the relative font size?

Thanks,

  Rick

in current versions of the admin console the font size is File > Themes > Font Size.

That said if you really mean you're still using a 99i you'll have to wait for someone else to answer... I have no idea, i wasn't a customer yet in the 99i days and have no idea what that version looked like.

It is a 994, I'm just using that old URL which still works to bring up the web console.  Any font size I use under Themes doesn't seem to have any effect.

Have you tried this?

(1) Right click on ISY Launcher shortcut
(2) Select Open file location
(3) Right click on javaws.exe
(4) Properties > Compatibility > Change high DPI settings
(5) Check "Override high DPI scaling behavior. Scaling performed by:"
(6) Select "System (Enhanced)"

I'm surprised it works.

Try the instructions in this post to install the launcher on your desktop.  It's the modern way of always opening the correct version of the Admin Console.

The print on everything is too small, it didn't used to be that way.

Another thread recently lead me to File > Themes > font size

Since changing it to 15 I can actually read the funky magenta text easily.  (hint: 14 breaks display of some selector boxes, skip that size).
