Missing program

A new one for me.  I'm on 5.0.16C and have discovered a missing program when accessing the ISY remotely.  I will be home in a few days and will try a local connection but wanted to see if anyone has encountered this situation before.

I have a program called "Temperature counters," which activates every hour and adds the current temperature from various devices to an integer variable.  At the end of the day, I divide the total by 24, report the averages, and reset the variables.  The program was "broken" recently because I had to reset a couple of wireless tags. All the averages are still working except for those two; I logged in to reset the connection today and discovered the problem.

I am posting a series of screens shots from my phone and computer. If I log in via the portal on my iPhone, I can see the program, see it ran last hour, it's set to run the next hour, etc.  If I look at the variables in the AC, I can see they were updated on the last hour (except where broken).  However, I cannot find the program in the AC.  Cannot find links to the program via searching on the variables, program name, etc.  It's like it's running but not there, as far as the AC is concerned.

Since I am remote and this is not a critical program, I have no urgency to reboot until home to avoid the regular startup woes with my Elk and Polisy.  As I said, I'll report back in a couple days, but has anyone seen this before?

Sometimes the admin console just doesn't load a program or two. Just don't save what's left until you totally give up finding it.

Did you know the admin console has a search for almost anything function?

Thanks for letting me know I’m not crazy. Yes I used the search function every direction I could think of with no luck. We will see what happens when I’m on the local network.

Just reboot the admin console and have a fresh look.. Hopefully you just got a bad load. If you know the variable it is affecting do searches for that.

If it doesn't ever show up contact UDI support. I would be sure they can fix you up by digging through your ISY remotely. You may not get a response on Saturday.

So if I understand correctly what you were saying, every time we open the admin console and make a minor change to a program and hit save it's a crapshoot and we may lose a program or two?  That kind of makes the hair on the back of my neck stand up!

It may be possible but not very likely. I have only seen this happen with bad Ethernet comms. I believe the admin console only saves the changes it knows about.
