Measuring Hot Tub Temperature

Featured Replies

I have been searching online and the forums but have not found a solution to this yet. I have an outdoor hot tub with 6 different pumps (all use the same return line) and I would like to measure the temperature of the return water with the ISY. Depending on the return temp and the outdoor temperature, I want to be able to adjust the temperature of the hot tub.

I know I can use PolyGlot and the different weather integrations to get the outdoor temperature, but I am not sure how to measure the return line temp. It looks like Insteon used to have a wireless thermostat with an external probe, but that is no longer for sale.

Any ideas on this?

CAO Wireless Tags. They are cheap, easy to implement with ISY and generate cloud charting, have wet probes available, use cheap CR2032 batteries, which last 8-12 months, and very accurate without drifting sensors.
