I'm planning on placing an order for an ISY-99I. I currently have a 2412U USB PLM. Can I use the 2412U or do I need to get the 2412S?

You will need the 2412S.

I have several problems with my PLM (sometimes I have to reset it several times each day) & I would like a confirmation that I can use the PLC 2414 to replace my PLM 2412.

 

For Smarthome is not a problem but I can not trust them. Bad experiences with them.

You must use a 2412S.

The 2414S PLC and 2412S PLM are not even close to being the same.

 

I am surprised at Smarthome's response. Right on the 2412S web page is a chart of differences between them.
