I've just had a pile of LED thin puck style spotlights installed and I find they flicker slightly.

(Sometimes on insteon traffic as well as certain dimmed percentages)

I've made a few observations

1) The last LED puck in the line usually flickers while the others don't.

2) Depending on the situation the lights only flicker between 30%-75% (these amounts vary from room to room)

3) The lights in the main bathroom do not flicker at all at any percentage. I have to note that the power for these lights starts at a GFI outlet before going to anywhere else in the bathroom. I find this interesting. Maybe it has something to do with the amount of power like trying to run Christmas tree lights? Does the GFI filter somehow?

The home depot dimmer (cheap one) can dim the lights to any percentage with no flickering at all.

I'm mapping out workarounds right now (having no settings be in the 'Flicker Zone')

I've read quite a bit on the way different dimmers handle dimming (linear, etc) and I'm assuming the Insteon stuff falls into one of those categories.

Just wondering if theres a solution besides putting another light from every chain in the attic so the one that flickers isn't seen

(that is a joke... sort of)

Do I eventually have to replace all my Insteon switches (cost prohibitive at this point)

I know I've prattled on here. I'm just hoping to find a better solution than the ones I've come up with.

I also noted this topic and was going to reply to it but I didn't want to hijack that forum.

Forgive me if this post should have been included in that one
