Keypadlinc/BondBridge/Fan Control/Scene

I have a fan I would like to control with a keypadlinc 6 button.  I have the fan installed, connected to a Bondbridge nodeserver.  It works great from the Bond app.  It works great from within isy at the device level.  But for the life of me I cannot figure out the scene deal.  I read tons of tutorials and threads, but I just dont get it.

I can get it to work ONCE great.  But if I try to change something after the first test of all the buttons, they dont work. Well, except for the light buttons.  They work flawlessly. LOL

For example.  I create a scene for low, med, high, off.  I can turn it on low, turn it on med, turn it on high.  cool beans.  But after that, say i go from high down to low, the led on the button will follow but the fan will stay on high.  any further button presses moves led correctly.  but the fan usually stays high.  Once in a while it will got down to medium and sometimes to off.  never goes back to low. I am surely doing something wrong. please help

Also cannot figure out how to export a scene to share here.  Best I can do is pictures. The scenes are all basically the same except for the controller and the responder setting (fan speed 1, 2, 3, off. I can post if needed.
