marcin
I was wondering if anyone connected the COSMO-4W or COSMO-2W Smoke and CO sensors via i4 Interface Module to their ELK system. https://www.systemsensor.com/en-us/Pages/COSMO-4W.aspx
TrojanHorse
I was wondering if anyone connected the COSMO-4W or COSMO-2W Smoke and CO sensors via i4 Interface Module to their ELK system. https://www.systemsensor.com/en-us/Pages/COSMO-4W.aspx Yes. I am using the 2 wire detectors and the interface and it works well. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
marcin
Thank you. How did you hook up the controller to the Elk?
TrojanHorse
Thank you. How did you hook up the controller to the Elk?Well the basic idea is you have the detectors in a loop that connect to the module. The module then connects to the panel zones. You add a smoke zone, CO zone and non alarm maintenance zones. Power for the module comes from SAUX. You may need EOL resistors, I can’t remember Hopefully that helps you make sense of what you’re seeing in the schematic wiring instructions. A good way to attach the module is with I believe a 4 inch square metal box with an offset nipple to the Elk can.
