isy994i power light is not ON

Hi

My isy seems to be working normally. The only issue is the power light is always OFF. Do you have the same issue?

I bought it about one year ago, how about the device's warranty period?

thanks

Try removing the power from the ISY for about 30 seconds. When it reboots the other LEDs should show activity. If that's not the case you may have a bad power supply or another issue.   If that doesn't help then send UDI a support ticket.

I think the Power LED is run directly from the ISY994i's internal power supply. As the power LED lights almost immediately on powering up the unit.

If the ISY994i is working normally except the power LED is out. The LED or the current limiting resistor for the LED has probably failed or their is a bad solder joint, PCB run.

If the whole thing stops work after trying the recommended 30 second power cycle. The wall wart is probably failing.

I have seen another post here where the power LED was out but the system was still functioning.

I would see what UDI says about it.

I have the exact same thing with my ISY. Its been like that since I got it. It still works fine and since it is hidden in amongst the A/V rack I haven't really worried about it.
