NodeLink v0.11.1 - help with Honeywell 20p + EVL4 - Arming

Featured Replies

Hello -

I am trying to integrate my Honeywell 20p / EVL4 setup with my ISY994 using NodeLink.  I got NodeLink set up smoothly on a dedicated VM, and got the node server / isylink set up without issue.  My Honeywell alarm shows up in the ISY, and the zones report their statuses A-ok.

I can disarm the system from the Partition 1 screen.  (I have the disarm code set up in the NodeLink config page)  However the Arm Away / Arm Stay buttons do not work.  I am certain I am missing a simple critical link here, like having to provide a user code for disarm?  The green LCD on the keypads will light up when I click arm within the ISY, but nothing happens.

Thanks,

Unfortunately I don't have a Honeywell to play with (I'm a DSC guy).

NodeLink sends #2 to the panel for Arm Away and #3 for Arm Stay.  Do those work when you enter them directly into the panel?

I think I had this issue and it was the password.  I cant remember but it was either it wanted the envisilink password or the passcode.  Disarm has a different code and thats probably why it works.

Also make sure you can do it all with the EV4 aopo.   If you can there then you know you are good and its a config issue.

If thats not the issue, sorry but I thought I would see if I can help since I have an EV4 and honeywell.

Looks like the panel needs to be programmed to not require the password for arming:

Otherwise you could enable NodeLink's relay server, and send a command to it RAW_<PASS>2, where <PASS> is your 4 digit code.

Thanks for the quick replies, everyone.

That was exactly the fix.  This is on menu *21.  Then 1, 1.  (Three chimes)

Thanks again!
