Recommendations for New System (especially alarm)

I had a pretty significant installation of Insteon devices with a Polisy running nodeserves for Ring door bells, SONOS, Philips Hue, and other devices.  I also had an HAI Omni alarm panel which I had to operate with discrete inputs and outputs.

I lost all of that in my divorce, so now I am starting over from scratch.  If you had to do it all over again, which switch line would you go with, and more importantly which alarm system.  I don't need something as extravagant as the Omni or Elk.  How well do the DCS or Honeywell systems work with the EnvisaLink nodeserver?

@tpolito, I am sorry to hear that.

I use DSC and it works great with both Nodelink from io_guy as well as the Envisalink node server from goose66. I have used up until recently Nodelink for probably 8 ish years. Switched over to Envisalink about a month or so ago. Been very happy with both.

I’ve used DSC 1864 panel through NodeLink or DSCLink before it for 9 or 10 years — excellent integration.

I used Nodelink originally for years and switched over to the Envisalink node server shortly after it became available to interface with my DSC system.  The integrations were rock solid, and I have nothing but praise for the developers of those platforms.
