NewTech Posted December 22, 2009 Posted December 22, 2009 Just want to let everyone know that I feel as if I am a personal friend of Michel K. even though I don't actually know him personally. About 6 months ago he spent COUNTLESS hours assisting me to get to a point where I was able to fully rely and depend on my ISY and Insteon system. I have not had an issue with my ISY since he spent all that time with me via E-mail and phone support. I feel confident now that when a button is pressed or a command is sent to an Insteon device it will do exactly as I want it to do- every time! Universal Devices is the model of what all customer service companies should be like.

UDI (Michel in particular) provide a level of customer service second to none... and I work for a very large tech service company. They are always helpful, polite and supportive, even with folks who are not very technical. I wish our company behaved like UDI. Thanks guys!

I am of the believe that H.A. soon will be a standard in the near future.... the 2 biggest drawbacks..... is the historical price of the systems (Crestron, HAI, Elan, etc) and the close environments that reduced incredibly the market and made it unnecessarily ellitist. Now the DYS options... breakaway with those to paradigms.... but the key for these new DYS options is people like Michael Kohanim... he makes the difference between having a product that is great (ISY) and having a product that is great and helps its users grow as he strives to help and assist everyone in need wiith relentless care and well of knowledge that he pours for everyone not just to fix issues but to enrich ourselves with valid knowledge. If you are "shopping" for Home Automation controllers.... ISY is the product... but specially Mike... of UDI makes the difference.
