Best offers on the Z-Wave Smoke/CO being accepted.  Otherwise these go in the trash on Tuesday 5/10/22 (Tomorrow).

I have 9 residential smokes in my home.  NFPA code requires residential smokes to be replaced every 10 years.  I can either spend $900+ on overpriced smokes (Nest, Z-Wave, etc.) or $90 on wired residential smokes every 10 years.

$810 buys a lot of beer.  Just sayin!

I live in a condo with built-in smoke detectors. Nevertheless I was thinking getting one of those so that I create program alerting me of smoke when nobody is at home. I  remember getting one a few years ago and then returning it but I don't remember why. Has anyone tried to include one of these in ISY ? Are they Zwave Plus ?

One of them I (that I have) is Z-Wave Plus.  The others are not.  I installed them with numerous systems including the ISY for testing.  I no longer need them for any testing and I use Smokes connected to my Elk panel so... no use for them.

I use First Alert detectors through the Insteon Smoke Bridge --> ISY.  Very handy.  Turns lights on when a fire alarm goes off (if there's a fire at night it turns all of the lights on so that you can exit).  I also get texts and email if the fire alarm goes off (setup through the ISY).
