I saw someone on the Coccoontech web site. Many years ago.

They found a suitable replacement tact switch on a electronic parts vendors site. Then replaced the defective original tact switch.

I believe someone here got some contact cleaner into the switch and it started to work.

Careful with the contents on plastics. Years back some of the Contact Cleaners contained solvents that dissolved some plastics. I think those are all history now but you may want to test in a hidden corner, first.

The original on/off tach switches are Omron B3FS-1002P, which are commonly available at electronic distributors.
