Testers: If you have Local Connection settings defined in the app and using eisy.local as the IP Address please let me know if a firmware update status fails with an error similar to the following. My initial test on my personal device failed and the Android System stopped routing to eisy.local. This was related to the Android OS as chrome also failed to route to .local addresses. This required a reboot of the Android Device. I would like to know how frequently this occurs or if it was a one time issue. I've added an error message for systems using eisy.local in the next version, although I can no longer replicate the issue. Link to comment

Quick Look: See all programs with schedules from the Quick Look > Schedules section. Quick Look section is on the same Home Screen as "Devices and Scenes" Folder. While Quick Look > Schedules should locate all programs with Schedules it is possible the app misses some with conditions or actions not yet mapped in UD Mobile. Linked Programs: See all programs linked to a node from the Node's Dashboard (Screen which shows all status and command values for a node)> Settings (Top) > Linked Programs. While Linked Programs should locate all program where the node is in the Status, Control, or Command conditions/actions it is possible the app misses some with conditions/actions not yet mapped in UD Mobile. 1 Link to comment
Javi Posted March 23, 2023 Author Share Posted March 23, 2023 Beta Version 1.0.30 Added Geofencing, UD Mobile Location Service, and Notification Settings to alert users when eisy disconnects from Portal. Basic Setup Example: Geofencing: Geofencing provided by Google Play Services is broken and acknowledged by Google. Play Services Geofencing will work when any app using Play Services APIs updates the System Location, but will not trigger a geofence until UDM or another app updates the system location. To get around this issue UD Mobile on Android implements a Location Foreground Service to poll the device location. UD Mobile Location Services are disabled by default. UD Mobile Location Services: UD Mobile Location Services are services to assist with Geofencing and will consume battery. UD Mobile Location Services are NOT required for Geofencing however Android may not update your geofences until another app or the Android system requests location. If you are in your vehicle with Android-Auto/Google-Maps running then UD Mobile Location Services should not be required as these types of apps will update the Android System Location. UD Mobile Location Services will run in the foreground and will be shown as actively running in Notifications and Android Settings. Polling interval for UD Mobile Location Services can be updated to any Geofence Enter/Exit commands. This will allow users to set larger Geofences to increase polling interval as the user gets closer to a desired smaller radius Geofence and decrease polling interval as they get farther from desired smaller radius Geofence. The UD Mobile Location Services may have bugs so please report any issues in the UD Mobile sub-forum. Logs for both Geofence and UDM Location Services can be found by pressing the log icon at the top of the Geofence List screen. System Notifications: Notification of System connect/disconnect from Portal is implemented in app but is not yet in production for all users. Added WiFi connect/disconnect as triggers for location update in UDM Location Services. Added Geofence Logs Delete. Added Package Update listener to restart UDM Location Services. This release will allows UDM Location Services to have an additional trigger to request location. When the device connects to WiFi location update will be requested immediately. Added WiFi only UDM Location Service request, with polling interval set to a negative number. Please report any issues in the UD Mobile sub-forum. Note that Local Connections require Local Connection Settings are enabled and valid for your System (Settings-Tab > Systems > Your System > Local Connection Settings). Local Connection Settings requires location permission and your WiFi SSID. Polisy will require manual upgrade to PG3x for remote connections, eisy was shipped with PG3x. Added PG3 Remote Connections for PG3x. Changed MQTT Library for local connections and re-enabled local PG3 connections. Added PG3 Notification Options. Added darker gray color for cell subtitles. See the following video for instructions or our WiKi for some common issues when upgrades are required. Geofence will now retry when active network cannot be determined. Added Active Network check before most ISY connections. Allow Widgets (slider/switch/etc.) for commands with multiple parameters. To access cameras outside of your home network they must be accessible outside of your home network. UPDATE: Local Connection test are failing frequently on 994, pushing version 1.1.78 which restores this functionality but keeps the automatic tests. Version 1.1.77 Local connections are now established automatically if the local credentials/ip/port are correct. Using http://eisy.local on port 8080 should work for users with a single eisy if their home network and mobile device support local domains. Router IP reservation of numerical IP is recommended as the Local IP Address may change. Speed improvements, bug fixes. Versions 1.1.62 - 1.1.76 UI Improvements, rebuilt Device Dashboard. Added Color bulb type for Philips Hue and Sengled Zigbee bulbs (possibly works with other "hue" type color control nodes). Link to comment

Currently IP reservation or local IP (i.e. http://eisy.local) is still a requirement. Many UI Improvements Added download icon to Custom Status Mappings Moved Programs (My Programs/Schedules/Notifications), Variables and Network Resources to Automations Tab. Added easy link to custom mappings for System Icons. Home tab cameras now show video feed. Known Issues: Some customizations (icons) may not refresh until app is restarted.
