Richard Posted January 29, 2010 Posted January 29, 2010 When I try to log on to the ISY99i through a browser, I get a timeout message: "The server at 192.168.1.xxx is taking too long to respond." I unplugged the PLM and plugged it back it. This makes no difference. When I ran a program the week before, some of the lights did not go on or off at scheduled times. Is the ISY99i going bad? Or the PLM? How can I solve the problem.
Richard Posted January 29, 2010 Author Posted January 29, 2010 Scratch that. I had unplugged my router during the week to reset it because of internet problems. Seems that when everything was plugged back in, a new address was assigned to the ISY99i. I am now logged into the administrative console. Sorry to be a bother.
oberkc Posted January 29, 2010 Posted January 29, 2010 It has been too long to remember the details, but I think there is a way to assign a fixed address for the ISY. Early on, I found myself frequently having to find the ISY and the newly assigned IP address. No more.

brad77 Posted January 29, 2010 Posted January 29, 2010 Alternatively, you can set up a DHCP reservation on your router (if your router supports this) so that the ISY is always given the same address when it asks for one.
