nadler Posted June 25, 2022 Posted June 25, 2022 After 10 weeks of living in a motel, we finally moved into a new condo. I'm trying to recreate my insteon setup in my house with a ZWave setup in the condo. I'm new to zwave so this may seem fundamental to some of you. I had a bathroom light insteon program which would save the brightness level to the dimmer switch to 20% at 11 pm and another program which would set it back to 100% at 6 am. So if someone walked into the bathroom at night and pressed the paddle the bathroom light would go on to soothing 20% and not the normal harsh 100%. I can't seem to recreate this with the Z72. The administrative console seems to have what I need, including save changes. The event viewer says it is force writing the changes to the dimmer, but most of the time nothing happens. Should the dimmer be responding with an ACK like an insteon dimmer? Should I be setting a configuration parameter (I haven't figured the configuration parameters out yet). Has anyone done anything similar and can give me some tips? Thanks. Noel Quote
