Kasa devices disconnect randomly from ISY

I have the KASA node server 3.0.11 running on Polisy.  My ISY has that node server with a couple of KASA devices connected.  These disconnect randomly from my ISY and after checking the configuration on the Polisy, I am some how able to get them reconnected.  Attached is the log file from Polisy.  Is there something that I am doing wrong?  I like these devices, but they are not reliable right now.

My Kasa devices are very reliable. When the node server says they are disconnected can you check the Kasa app and see what it says? I'm very busy this week and weekend but can try to review the log when I have time.

What @JimboAutomates suggests is true. When of my Kasa devices stop working in ISY, they (almost) always stopped working in the Kasa App as well. Of course, by definition, they won't work in ISY if they are somehow disconnected from the Kasa App.

My two Kasa light switches disconnected again today.  We did have a power blip last night, but both the Polisy and ISY are both on Uninterruptable Power Supply.  Of course, the light switches are not.  I checked the Polisy and the Kasa node server is connected.  On the ISY, the node server shows as connected.  One of the switches shows as connected/true, then other shows connected/false.  Neither one will respond via ISY when I try to turn the lights on.

I stopped and restarted the node server on Polisy.  The log file is attached.

I logged back into the ISY and now both devices show as connected/true and they respond to on and off commands via ISY.

I don't really know anything about the Kasa node server but I did take a quick look at the log.

It looks like the power outage caused the switches to get assigned new IP addresses and when the node server attempted to re-discover them, something may have failed as there's no more log messages after that until you restarted the node server.

It may not be possible given home router reservation limits, but for things like these switches, they'll be more reliable if they always get the same IP address.  Handling devices that disappear and then re-appear at different IP address can be tricky to handle properly within the node server.

Thanks!  I've bound the current ip addresses for my two kasa devices to their MAC addresses on my router.  I have a feeling that this might be the solution.  Crossing fingers....

This node server automatically detects devices assigned a new IP, and that seemed to work for your 'Basement Hallway" device.

But the discover is not seeing another device.  Did you check the Kasa app to see if that device is available there?

Even though the app on Polisy detected the basement device via the new ip address, it was not working on the ISY.  I did not check the Kasa app to see if the other device was available.  Once I stopped then started the app, everything connected again.

Correction to your question.  The Kasa app in Polisy did show 3 devices on the dashboard when it wasn't working on the ISY.  The controller and the two devices.  I didn't click on the node details to see what was on that page.
