My OpenSprinkler (with extender) is on its way.  I would prefer to stand on the shoulders of great men and women who have come up with programming for it! :) 

Would you please post a (or some) standard and interesting programs or ideas for OpenSprinkler or other systems?

I also have a personal weather station and an OpenWeatherMap forecast, so I am also interested in programs that utilize recent/expected rain and/or temperature info to ratchet back or turn off the irrigation.  I live in SoCal and water rates are going through the proverbial roof...
