headless Posted November 23, 2022 Posted November 23, 2022 Is there a way to set the polling interval for weatherbit.io? I have a free weatherbit.io account that is limited to 50 requests/per day and NodeLink makes a request every 5 minutes. This means that I only get updates for roughly for four hours during the evening since the quota resets at 00:00 UTC. 2022-11-23 10:57:33 - Weather: Get StatusError - TooManyRequests [wea1] 2022-11-23 11:02:33 - Weather: Get StatusError - TooManyRequests [wea1] 2022-11-23 11:07:34 - Weather: Get StatusError - TooManyRequests [wea1] 2022-11-23 11:12:34 - Weather: Get StatusError - TooManyRequests [wea1] 2022-11-23 11:17:34 - Weather: Get StatusError - TooManyRequests [wea1] 2022-11-23 11:22:34 - Weather: Get StatusError - TooManyRequests [wea1] Also, it would be great if wind speed and direction were included in the current weather.
headless Posted November 26, 2022 Author Posted November 26, 2022 Nevermind. I just uninstalled Nodelink due to lack of support.

Hi, he's been pretty responsive to others, including me, but I believe he's gone a lot with work, and this week was Thanksgiving, so I would encourage you to be patient in terms of awaiting a response. NodeLink has a number of great features, and I think it's great that he's put it out there for the community. Happy holidays to you! 2
MrBill Posted December 3, 2022 Posted December 3, 2022 @headless, I agree with @TFay... also keep in mind that @io_guy isn't making any money off nodelink. It free software and it's supported pretty darn well for free stuff. 1
