bigDvette Posted December 31, 2022 Posted December 31, 2022 I have been able to convolutedly get all the free node servers I use installed. However, none of the licensed node servers will install. As an example, I am attempting to install the harmony node server. All the paid node servers fail with the same message of error: createNS: ReferenceError: status is not defined at checkLicense. I know you've said several times you can only test with your unlicensed node servers @bpwwer. Has anyone else been able to install paid node servers? 12/30/2022, 19:47:27 [pg3] info: checkLicense:: Updaing HarmonyHub subscription expiration to 2023-01-30T02:50:43.000Z 12/30/2022, 19:47:27 [pg3] error: createNS: ReferenceError: status is not defined at checkLicense (/var/polyglot/node_modules/@universaldevices/pg3x/lib/services/node servers.js:710:95) at process.processTicksAndRejections (node:internal/process/task_queues:95:5) at async Object.createNs (/var/polyglot/node_modules/@universaldevices/pg3x/lib/services/node servers.js:433:5) 12/30/2022, 19:47:30 [pg3] info: [00:21:b9:02:60:43_3] Retrieved customparams 12/30/2022, 19:47:30 [pg3] info: [00:21:b9:02:60:43_3] Retrieved oauth 12/30/2022, 19:47:37 [pg3] info: [00:21:b9:02:60:43_3] Retrieved customparams 12/30/2022, 19:47:37 [pg3] info: [00:21:b9:02:60:43_3] Retrieved oauth 12/30/2022, 19:47:37 [pg3] info: [00:21:b9:02:60:43_3] Retrieved customparams 12/30/2022, 19:47:47 [pg3] info: Starting log stream for pg3frontend_ks9ZQ :: /var/polyglot/pg3/logs/pg3-current.log
tazman Posted December 31, 2022 Posted December 31, 2022 If you are trying to move the node server from one device to another you can create a ticket with UDI and tell them what you want to do and send them the UUID to both devices and that might help. Even though they transfered the licenses it still did not work for all of my node serves and I'm patiently waiting and still running 2 node servers on Polisy until they get it all straightened out.
sjenkins Posted December 31, 2022 Posted December 31, 2022 Paid node servers are connected to the unit you paid for them on. From what I am hearing you can either purchase again or through a manual process (a ticket I believe with the old UUID and the new UUID) you can transfer your nodes over. You will lose the ability to use them on the old unit. I am personally buying the nodes again for two reasons. One, I want to use my POLISY & EISY together. Two I want to support fellow developers for UD and UD.
bigDvette Posted December 31, 2022 Author Posted December 31, 2022 No, not trying to move. I've decided I would get all the node servers working and installed and then do my restore and re-do my zwave devices. So for now I'm using trial license to do this. I'm hoping to get this all working in the 30 day window, then move the licenses. So far I can't get Harmony or MyQ to work.

There is also a bug in PG3 on eisy that after the node servers are installed every time eisy is restarted you need to go to the store and use the (Re)Install button and put them in the same slot they are in and that gets them started.
bigDvette Posted December 31, 2022 Author Posted December 31, 2022 Yeah, can’t ever get them started. @bpwweris this something you are working on and potentially fixed in next release. I saw your update earlier on items in next release but haven’t seen an update to try against.

I'm hesitant to release something that still has known issues and I'm also waiting for a new eisy so I can test and debug the problem with purchases. I don't have a specific ETA for the release but I'm targeting early next week. 1

Hoping to get all the Node Server stuff working while in the 30 day trail before migrating my licenses and moving Insteon. I only have like 6 z wave dimmers I use for fans and 2 repeaters so will just do those over.
