mike.neal@oracle.com Posted March 20, 2010 Posted March 20, 2010 Hello, It would be nice to be able to run a program manually if it didn't run and or if I wanted to run it again. Example is that I have the thermostat program run at 9:00am and sets the heat to 74 and when I look, my kids have manually raised the temperature up 3 or 4 degrees. When I see this from the ISY99i GUI, I need the ability to just run the program again as I set other values in the program and don't want to manually change multiple values when I could just click on the program and select "RUN NOW". If not on you road map as a new feature, please consider adding this. Thanks, Mike
markens Posted March 20, 2010 Posted March 20, 2010 Running a program manually is already easily done: Go to the Program Summary page of the admin console, select the desired program, and open the right-click menu. There you will see a bunch of options, including Run (If), Run Then, and Run Else. You can also do this via the html interface (//isy/pgms), and a number of the third party apps such as Mobilinc. --Mark
brad77 Posted March 22, 2010 Posted March 22, 2010 The Wiki has more information about what these mean. Here it is in a nutshell, though: [*:13kj97cb]Run (If) - Evaluates the condition in your If statement and runs the Then or Else part of your program based on whether or not the condition is true.[*:13kj97cb]Run Then - Skip the evaluation and run the Then part of your program[*:13kj97cb]Run Else - Skip the evaluation and run the Else part of your program
mike.neal@oracle.com Posted March 23, 2010 Author Posted March 23, 2010 Very nice. Thanks all as this my stupid fault for not understanding the terminology. Work like a charm now that I understand it...lol Thanks, Mike
