2342-2 Linking

I am trying to link a 2342-2 and I get this error no matter what model I choose to link.

The Following devices could not be added:

47.AE.A1 (2432) Remote Linc

- Cannot determine Insteon Engine

 

Error...

Any ideas ?

Make sure your remotelinc is fully charged.

Put the remotelinc into the linking mode (hold down the set button until the led begins a slow flash)

In the admin console, under "link management", click on "Link a Remotelinc 2"

If you're still having trouble linking, then bring the remotelinc closer to your PLM.

    I had to remove the cover to get a clear view of the proper address.  My problem was I had the wrong address on my keylinc ...

    Glad you found your solution.

    Misread ID is one of the more common issues. Some are hard to determine between some characters.
