@Goose66     Installed three sets of Allen + Roth shades today and the Bond hub picked the up the shades with no issues also the Bond Plugin talks to them without any problems. My question it there are three commands in the Bond app Open Stop and Close. The AC only has two commands Open and Close. Can the Stop command be picked up by the Bond plugin??

The Bond plugin doesn't dynamically build the profile of the nodes. Thus the node profiles are designed to support the broadest set of features for each class. In the case of blinds, that's Open and Close. What's the use case for automating a Stop command of a blind?

@Goose66 I want to be able to open my blinds halfway. I would be able to open the blinds in a program then wait a specified time then stop.

That sounds like an optional add-on parameter option of X seconds (followed by a Stop command automatically) could match the style of many other device command styles in ISY admin console.

Can you not set the stop position for open in the blinds themselves? E.G., manually control the blinds with your remote to set the "Open" position? Two subsequent opens then open to 100%. That's how my blinds at my last house worked.

But yes, I will put a note in the plugin to add in the next release a "Stop" command for all blinds. The plugin will just ignore it for blinds that don't support stop, or maybe go ahead and send it and let the Bond bridge deal with the lack of support.

I think you've created a great Node Server!

 

As such, I purchased your Bond Node Server earlier today and was looking for the same function as tlightne -- "Stop" for Blind Controls.

 

However, for me, this would be for a Somy RTS Shade Controller instead of Allen + Roth Shades ...

 

Also, thank you very much for your earlier posting indicating that you would be adding the "Stop" command for blinds into the next  release of the Bond Node Server.
