GatoGrey Posted February 3 Posted February 3 I just installed the Roku node. Looking at the log file I see this: ERROR roku:discover: Discovery failed for http://192.168.2.195:8060/: 'data' Any ideas on what to do next. Thanks!

bpwwer Posted February 3 Posted February 3 The plug-in sends out broadcast that triggers the Roku devices to respond. When it gets a response, it attempts to query the device for it's specific configuration data (mainly what apps are installed). In this case, that query returned nothing. So if the device at IP address 192.168.2.195 is in fact a Roku device, it is not responding properly.
GatoGrey Posted February 3 Author Posted February 3 Thank you for the quick response! The Roku is in fact at the .195 address. It is a Roku Ultra. Is the plug-in model specific or is Roku's interface standard across models? Is there anything I need to enable on the Roku for remote access?
Solution GatoGrey Posted February 3 Author Solution Posted February 3 Success! I went into the Roku's advanced settings and found a setting and found Control By Mobile Apps. There is a setting for Network Access which was disabled. I set it to Enabled. Control by mobile apps applies to local network as well is seems.
