Not Finding Govee Nodes

Featured Replies

I had the Govee Noderserver installed and it had found all of my devices as nodes.  The nodeserver itself was not working, so I uninstalled and reinstalled it.  Requested a new api key from Govee.  Added a Custom Configuration Parameter "api_key" and pasted the key.  The nodeserver connects, but only finds one node "the controller".  It finds this node whether I have the correct key entered or not, but will not find all of the devices.  Anyone have any ideas what I can try?

I would put a ticket in and ask if someone can take this over @bpwwer last updated it I think since Automation Shack is gone.  I was also going to ask if they could add the tower fan.

Update.  Had the same problem

get new API key

Upgrade to latest Pg3x (skip if done)

Uninstall Govee completely

Reinstall- same slot is ok

in configuration add a custom configuration called api_key and then put your key as the value

click save

Then restart the nodeserver and my nodes came in.
