PLM failed?

Firmware and UI v5.8.0

I have not made any changes to my system in a while. I noticed late yesterday as I went to bed that a motion sensor did not turn on a light.  I thought nothing about it.  This morning, I noticed that none of my Insteon devices are responding to commands. They do work manually.  My Z-Wave devices work.

The PLM led is lite.  Before I decide the PLM has failed, can anybody recommend some trouble shooting steps?

Sometimes unplugging, waiting 10 seconds and replugging will sometimes fix it.

How old is the PLM, what's its version number, date?

Take a look at this link, starting at step 4, number 2.  If the links tables are out of line. Based on how old the PLM is, eg 4,5+ years there's a good chance its bad

Paul, Thank you for the fast reply.  I think the PLM is only a year or two old, but I don't really remember.  With all the changes from upgrading to the EISY, setting up a system at another location, and moving things around, I have lost track.  It is version model 2413S, revision  2.5  4718.  I don't see a  date on it.

The PLM Links table did not show anything other than a count 0.

The scene test show Failed.

Was this after an unplug / replug? I think the 4718 is week 47 of 2018.. so its older and in the time period where they were still getting the bad capacitors.

Also look at tools/diagnostics/PLM Info status

If those are all bad results, I'm guessing the PLM is shot

After.buying a new PLM and still not connecting, I solved the problem by separating and reconnecting the DB9 connection on the serial connector, a few times then power cycling the EISY
