Since my old 2466DW is fried, I ordered a new 2477D.  Should be arriving today.  Been wondering about how I should handle this in the ISY99i Admin Console.

Once the switch is installed, I'd like it keep the same program that is currently running the 2466DW.  How would I go about this?

Probably an obvious question I'm just not seeing, but its been at least 4-5 years since I've changed/added any new hardware and I very rarely even go into the Admin Console any more.

Not too sure as they are not 100% the same.

Try the replace with function in the Administrative Console. They maybe close enough to have the replace with do all the needed changes.

When you do a REPLACE WITH the devices must be the same. You'll have to delete the 2466DW and add the 2477D as a new device.. 

Your programs will have a void where the previous switch was so you'll need to manually add the new switch to each program.

Thanks guys, that was easy enough.

Added the new device in Admin Console, deleted the old one, updated the two programs that reference the device and took a new backup.
