SetMonkey13 Posted June 2 Share Posted June 2 I can see that there is a way to adjust the ramp rate in the settings page, but is there a way for me to change the ramp rate via an HA automation? OR is there a way to have a Insteon device slowly ramp up in HA and ignore the ramp rate of the device? Quote Link to comment
shbatm Posted June 3 Share Posted June 3 You can use the `select.select_option` service in an automation to set the ramp rate of the Insteon device. From the device page, you can also click create new automation and then choose Change Device Ramp Rate Option to get a template for the action. As far as I know there is no transition support for insteon where you could set it on the fly for a specific turn on event like you can with most Zigbee/Z-Wave/Wi-Fi lights. Quote Link to comment
