RMichael
First, thanks for developing this plug-in! I have 8 Hunter-Douglas shades, 5 of which are controlled by a Gen2 Hub and 3 that are controlled by a Gen 3 hub. After installing and configuring the the Plug-in (Config attached), the Plug-in was able to discover and control the Gen 3 shades, but did not find the Gen 2 Hub or Shades. I may be doing somethin wrong in the configuration. I have also attached the log to give you more detail on the experience. Thanks in advance for your help. Solution sjenkins Posted June 16 Solution Share Posted June 16 Hi Rod, first, you are doing nothing wrong. So as I developed this plugin I started with a scope of just gen3 (what I have), then along came a user who has gen2. So right now it’s written as “either or”. So two solutions. I can do a bit of a rewrite; might take me a bit. The other solution is to install the plugin twice in different slots. Setup one as gen2 & the other as gen3. try that first and let me know here if there are any negatives to that. we can take it from there. Link to comment
RMichael
Thanks for the quick response! I'll Install another instance of the plug-in and see what happens. I'll get back to you with results. Link to comment
RMichael
Installing a second Plug-in worked perfect! This is a great Plug-in. Thanks again for your help. Link to comment
sjenkins
@RMichael thank you & good to hear all is well. You are the only user I know of using both Gen 2 / 3 . I am curious if you find any anomalies. I think that scenes are completely separate as they are run from the gateway (local which is really nice) but wasn't sure if the Hunter mobile app does any glue-together between Gen 2 /3 . You can now do these with ISY. Also, let me know if there are any other interesting observations. Enjoy! Link to comment
