GreyFox
I haveĀ an older ISY994i/IR Pro (1110). It's firmware is v.5.3.4, which is also the UI. I have a failed Insteon Motion Sensor 2842-222, and I am trying to replace it with a new Motion Sensor 2844-222. I have figured out how to add the 2844-222 device to the ISY, and I have managed to delete from the scene the 2842-222 and add to the scene the 2844-222. However, both motion sensors show up under My Lighting with a 1011 code. I have attached a screen shot of the Administrative Console. The 2844-222 device shows up at the top 2 entries 4A.71.AC and also the Basement Motion Sensor.1 Moti. The old 2842-222 device shows up as Basement Motion Dusk-Dawn, Basement Motion-Low Bat, and Basement Motion Sensor. There are also entries for Basement Motion Sensor 2-Dusk.Dawn, Basement Motion 2-Low Bat, and Basement Motion 2-Sensor. These last 3 entries are for a 2842-222 device which I may have replaced some time earlier and forgotten about it. If I right-mouse click on any of the 2842-222 devices and select delete, the Administrative Console gives me a message that the system is busy and a bar scrolls across the message, but it doesn't identify what device is being updated. This message recurs repeatedly after the bar scroll finishes, and I am unable to get it to stop without killing the Administrative Console. If I go to the entry for the 4A.71.AC.13 Motion Enabled and click on the Options button, I get a greyed out message saying the system is busy, and after a while I get an Error Message that says Could not open file [/CONF/UXT.BIN]. I've attached screen shots of these as well. In doing this step, I had not held the Set button on the Motion Sensor to put it into Linking mode. If I acknowledge the error message, I get a Device Options Dialog and a notification to put it into Linking mode. Once I select my options and am done, there are a couple of System Busy messages and everything is back to normal. So, my question is how do I delete the 2842-222 motion sensor devices that are no longer around? Quote Link to comment
Techman
The green 1011 means that there are pending writes to that device. Put the new motion sensor into the linking mode, then right click on the device and click on write updates. Right click on the old device then click on delete. You may have to reboot your ISY first. You should only have one battery operated dvice in the linking mode at a time otherwise there's a chance their link tables get crossed.. 1 Quote Link to comment
