jamesm007 Posted November 14 Posted November 14 My eisy has just up and hung randomly lately. It has been very reliable for quite a while. It is running 5.8.4 and has Polyglot 3.2.27. Upon hanging, PG is no longer accessible either. A power plug pull, will get it to restart. When I go to the portal to check it, sometimes it says it is not available. Today the indicator was green, but would not remote reboot it. It always comes back after power cycle, and have lots of backups. Is there a recommended process for a factory reset and restore? Any other ideas? Thanks, James Quote
Techman Posted November 14 Posted November 14 I would hold off doing anything for a week or two. There's a firmware update that should be coming out fairly soon that may resolve your issue. Quote
jamesm007 Posted November 14 Author Posted November 14 Excellent, I'll do that. It has happened about 6 times, but three times in the past week. Thanks, James Quote
burke Posted November 21 Posted November 21 (edited) Having the same problem with my eisy running 5.8.4 Polyglot 3.2.27. I've had decades of amazing stability with isy994i and, since 2023, the eisy... until the past few weeks. eisy appears to randomly become unaccessible (UD Mobile, web, ssh, or ping) and requires manual power interruption to get it back. Travelling this weekend and, for the first time I can remember, I'm worried if my house lights will continue working reliably while I'm away. 😕 I hate to wish this on anyone else, but also glad to know I'm not alone. Has happened twice today. If there's anything those of us experiencing the problem can do to either help debug the problem (e.g., look for something in log files) or any temporary workaround to stabilize the eisy until a fixis available, please let us know.
