Help with KPL and a scene...

The solution to my problem is probably straightforward but I cant seem to figure it out...

I have a scene that turns on and off 3 outside lights. The scene has only one controller: the button F on one of my KPL.

The scene works very well using the KPL F button, ant the KPL button reflects correctly the scene status.

The problem is, if I turn on the load button on the same KPL (the button controls a single light in the house), button F remains on, but then if I turn off the load button while the button F is on, then button F goes off (but the lights it controls outside remain on).

I cant understand the link between the load button and the F button. I can`t find any program that could cause the two lights to be linked. And why does the button go off while the lights it controls stay on???

I am clueless. Any idea?

is it possible that you have the same X-10 address assigned to the two buttons? Try clearing the X-10 address from one (directions are found in the instruction book). Perhaps this will solve your problem.

Hi stef2,

Besides an X10 address it could be that you accidentally linked the F to the Main button. Turning a button On or Off does not control linked devices.

Probably the quickest fix would be to reset the KPL and use the ISY Restore function on the KPL. This should clear any X10 addresses as well as button links.
