cwg819 Posted June 18, 2010 Share Posted June 18, 2010 I currently use an ISY to control a fairly large Insteon installation in my home. i also have two Carrier Infinity Systems that I can access from the Internet via a Carrier System Access Module. This module also has a serial port that allegedly talks to the ELK-M1 via a firmware flash to the M1XSP. Does anyone have any experience with this type of scenario? apostolakisl Posted June 20, 2010 Share Posted June 20, 2010 Carl, I would be just like you except when I found out that the carrier module cost over $1,000 (and i would need 2 since I have three units) I laughed a good hardy chuckle and decided I didn't need to control my HVAC from anywhere but home.
