diesel94 Posted February 21 Posted February 21 I just installed the upgrades suggested by my admin console (using with eisy). Everything went fine until I rebooted (after the install was complete). As soon as I log in, I get a message box that shows I have Admin Console v.5.8.4, and Iox Firmware v.5.9.1. I'm then told the Admin Console version is not compatible with the Iox firmware version. I'm then asked to use a version of the Admin Console that is the same as or newer than the Iox firmware. The only choice is "OK" after which everything closes. Is the answer to this, download the most recent Admin Console, install it, then restore from a backup? Should the original admin console be removed first? Any guidance would be appreciated. Thanks.
vbPhil Posted February 21 Posted February 21 Yes, it's gets uninstalled when you clear the Java Cache. These are my notes. Load a New JAVA Admin Console on Windows PC ⦁ Clear JAVA Cache from Control Panel JAVA applet ⦁ To load the ISY Launcher. https://isy.universal-devices.com/start.jnlp ⦁ Install start.jnlp to C:\Utilities (or where ever you want.)
Techman Posted February 21 Posted February 21 @diesel94 When you clear your java cache be sure to check all 3 boxes. This will also delete the IoX Launcher from your desktop You then need to install a new version of the IoX Launcher from the link above. No need to restore anything. Your firmware and UI should then be 5.9.1
paulbates Posted February 21 Posted February 21 A possible shortcut is to pick "Admin Console (Cloud)" when you click on your ISY in the launcher. That will download the AC for your 5.9.1 firmware 1
