Techman Posted March 12 Posted March 12 Insteon is offering a credit for trading up to dual band devices from single band. Trade-Up Program 1 Quote
jtara92101 Posted March 13 Posted March 13 Anyone know if you have to trade up to the exact same functionality? I have a surplus of dimmers - both single band and dual band. But I could use on/off switches, of which I only have a couple. The switches are nowadays useful in front of Hue bulbs, as iSY apparently lets you place the switch and hue bulbs (using Hue poly) in the same scene. I’ve been using dual-band keypads with no connected loads to control hue scenes at least in kitchen. (Hard-wired lines to bulbs in ceiling fans in switch box, but can still be manually controlled cause there are pull chains. Others I just left manual switches that I normally leave on.) Quote
Techman Posted March 13 Author Posted March 13 @jtara92101 Based on the trade-up table you can trade in an older dimmer for a dual band on/off swirch. They'll even accept non-Insteon devices for new dual band Insteon. The exact details are laid out in the trade-up form Trade-Up-Program-Form.pdf 2 Quote
