BRMeeke Posted Monday at 06:51 PM Posted Monday at 06:51 PM I have schedules on my Eisy that I cannot edit. When I try, I get a message saying that I need to synchronize but even after I synchronize, the message is the same. im also not getting consistent results from my programs. Sometimes they work perfectly, other times some of the lights turn on but not all. does anyone have any suggestions? I have bounced the ISY several times but no changes. Quote
Techman Posted Monday at 07:02 PM Posted Monday at 07:02 PM Have you tried editing your schedules using the admin console? Post one of the programs you're having issues with. It's possible that you have poor communication between your devices and your controller. What is your firmware and UI versions? Quote
paulbates Posted Monday at 07:05 PM Posted Monday at 07:05 PM Are you using the app? Have you tried editing with iox/admin console? Are you using insteon? Lights that turn on but not off can be the symptom of a line noisy load like a transformer or motor. When the insteon switch turns the noisy device on, it starts up and creates line noise that overwhelms the switch's electronics. Could you answer those questions, and then post one program that shows one problem? Quote
BRMeeke Posted Monday at 10:57 PM Author Posted Monday at 10:57 PM So I tried to get into the Admin Console but my Admin password does not work. Then when I tried to press the button on the front to reset the admin password, I get nothing. Is there a trick to resetting that password? Remember, I have an UDI-EISY so the old method does not work. My whole world with this job is threatening to crumble. Looking at the unit remotely, it says that the Notification Controller is Disconnected and none of my programs are running. It is almost as if I have broken the programs somehow. Individual buttons on the keypads work but no programs. anyone have any thoughts? Quote
Techman Posted Monday at 11:33 PM Posted Monday at 11:33 PM @BRMeeke What do you mean by "I have bounced the ISY several times but no changes." If you did a factory reset then the password would revert to the default admin / admin Quote
BRMeeke Posted Monday at 11:50 PM Author Posted Monday at 11:50 PM Sorry… bounced the ISY is saying that I’ve done a power cycle. Nothing changed. regarding the factory reset, the instructions say to press the button on the front 3 times but nothing seems to change. I’ve tried to press the buttons slow, regular and fast but nothing seems to work. But as I said, in doing this, I’ve disabled my programs. Quote
Techman Posted Tuesday at 12:21 AM Posted Tuesday at 12:21 AM Did you try the default password for the admin console. You can also try clearing your java cache, be sure to check all 3 boxes, then download the admin console launcher from here: https://isy.universal-devices.com/start.jnlp Quote
BRMeeke Posted Tuesday at 12:26 AM Author Posted Tuesday at 12:26 AM Do I have to be local or can I do it remotely? Quote
BRMeeke Posted Tuesday at 12:34 AM Author Posted Tuesday at 12:34 AM Just thinking about your response…. This will give me the login screen. Are you thinking that I’ve already reset the password and I just need to login? any ideas why my programs have stopped working or that my Notification Controller is disconnected? Quote
paulbates Posted Tuesday at 12:34 AM Posted Tuesday at 12:34 AM (edited) When you use your Admin Console remotely, you enter your UDI Portal account (email) and that password when logging in. Edited Tuesday at 12:34 AM by paulbates Quote
Techman Posted Tuesday at 12:34 AM Posted Tuesday at 12:34 AM Not knowing what type of remote setup you have on your compter, it's best to do it local Quote
BRMeeke Posted Tuesday at 12:36 AM Author Posted Tuesday at 12:36 AM I’ll try but as you say, probably best to get onsite. ok so that plan makes sense. Now why did the programs stop running? Any thoughts? Can I do anything remotely to get them going again? Quote
