I have a 6-button keypad controlling a ceiling fan/light combo via a fanlinc.  This week, the two decided to stop talking while I was out of town.  Wife isn't a big fan of the automation, less so when it stops working.  The set up is the on button turns the light on, off turns it off.  Buttons A thru C control the fan speed.  The fanlinc and keypad are controllable through the admin console separately - the button illuminate appropriately when activated on the console and the fan/light turn on according to their programing.  The Polisy is up-to-date and rebooted.  The light turns on with Alexa.  Is there any other fixes I can do aside from nucing the scenes and rebuilding them?

My experience with keypads is that they can get flaky after a few years of use. A simple thing to eliminate a few possibilities is to

  • Factory reset the keypad
  • In iox, right click on the keypad ("on"button) and pick restore device

Try that and report back. If that doesn't work there are more detailed things to do
