Scene strangness - works via alexa or admin console

Have a scene acting up.  Replaced 2 switchlinc using the replace routine in the ISY-994

Neither switch show in the links table for the keypad that controls the scene (A on an 8 button)

Verbally via Alexa or on the admin console the A button lights and the switchlincs turn on the lights.

If I press the A button, nothing happens besides the A button toggles, no lights respond.

restored A no change

Both switches claim to be part of the scene when I try to re-add them to the scene but don't show in the links table, maybe scenes don't.

Thoughts on fixing it and why it is behaving how it is?

Thank you

I'd try removing the device(s) from the scene (either drag out or delete), then re-add and retry

I have never used the replace routine in the ISY.  I find it better to delete the dead or removed device before actually removing it if it is still communicating and then adding the new one.  Yes in a large system with a lot of programs it is a hassle.  I also found rebooting before adding the new ones improved reliability if I used the same names for the device.  Now I am changing the name just to be sure anyway.  Dining was replaced with a new i3 so it is now Dining i3.

The next step is to run through all the programs and look for the green // areas where the device isn't found and replace them with the new device or updated scene.

Maybe as a last resort follow the replace PLM instructions?
