KYnewbie Posted Wednesday at 01:59 AM Posted Wednesday at 01:59 AM Not sure where to start so here goes. Have a couple simple on/off programs that turn on lamps controlled by some 2472D, 2663-222 and a couple LampLinc's. Program is, on at X time for 7 listed devices and then off at X time for the same 7 devices. Sometimes 5 of the 7 will turn on, next night could be 6 of the 7 will turn on. Sometimes 4 will turn off, sometimes 6 will turn off. Very random. My 2477D's that are set on schedules work without any errors, just seems to be the outlets and LampLinc's. Not sure if this is related but the admin console seems to take a couple minutes to load and it never holds the IP of my ISY994 which I have to add each time. Wondering if upgrading to the EISY would fix the issue, but hate to spend the money if the problem is all my outlets. 994 v.5.0.14 Any help or advice would be appreciated. Quote
paulbates Posted Wednesday at 02:29 AM Posted Wednesday at 02:29 AM It could be the plm. How old is it? If you don't know, there's a sticker on the back with 4 digits, what are they It could be power line noise from something me added to the electrical system, especially something close to the affected devices. It could be the sd card in the ISY going bad. How old is the ISY, or memory card of you've replaced it I believe the admin console problems are unrelated to the light problems. Reinstalling Java and reloading the admin console might help. Quote

Affected devices are lights in the windows on the front of the house so it would be the whole house. It could be the sd card in the ISY going bad. How old is the ISY, or memory card of you've replaced it ISY and memory card are about the same age of PLM which is old!! I believe the admin console problems are unrelated to the light problems. paulbates Posted Thursday at 02:02 AM Posted Thursday at 02:02 AM The sticker says it's a 2015 plm= suspect. Let's start there: Unplug the plm from the wall. Wait 10 seconds and plug been in- retest (if that works, then it's a sign the plm is dying) If unplugging didn't work, try using the Restore PLM option from the file menu (if that works, then it's a sign the plm is dying) What happens with trying those? I had to unplug the PLM to get to the sticker so my schedules should run tonight and I will update you tomorrow. I really appreciate your help. Quote
