eISY and zwave

First, the eISY is an excellent upgrade from the ISY, not for the faint of heart, but worth every effort. I have about 100 devices of all Zwave generations. They all started out working very well. Some had to be excluded and included, no big deal. However I am finding that over time a device will stop responding to queries and status ON/OFF commands. The fix is to turn Validation Off and Compatibility On. Immediately after that change, a device will start responding again. Anybody else seeing this and know why it happens?

Second, I really like the MQTT capability in PG3. I am using it as a bridge between Home Assistant and eISY. This one feature has opened up infinite possibilities by allowing the use of HA when needed, for example using Reolink Doorbells or Frigate NVR events. The documentation for MQTT hides everything you need to know to get things working though. Reverse engineering is needed to figure out the text formatting required for sensors to show up as nodes in eISY. Would be way better if that info could simply be shown.

example sensor text string that was reverse engineered from AM302 sensor research:

{ "ep1": { "Temperature": 69.8, "Humidity": 56.3 }, "TempUnit": "F" }
