Blackbird Posted Saturday at 04:51 PM Posted Saturday at 04:51 PM I am installing a new USB PLM on my POLISY. In the instructions Mishel gave me it shows this. To replace a PLM: Unplug ISY from the power outlet Unplug the PLM from ISY and power outlet Connect ISY’s port A to the new PLM Plug the new PLM into a power outlet Plug ISY into a power outlet Go to Admin Console and wait for system initialization to complete If you have PRO Series, click on the Battery icon at the top. This will prevent ISY from trying to update programming on your RF devices which are probably in sleep mode Click on the Restore Modem (PLM) menu option In case ISY cannot communicate (or decides not to if an RF device/PRO Series) during the process, you will have a series of nodes with green 1011 icons in the device tree. For each one of those nodes: If an RF device, ensure that the device is in Programming mode Right mouse click | Write pending updates ... On this line "In case ISY cannot communicate (or decides not to if an RF device/PRO Series) during the process, you will have a series of nodes with green 1011 icons in the device tree. For each one of those nodes:" is that meant to be done after the system busy progress bar is finished at 100%? I am at 20% and have a bunch of 10011 icons but some are slowly going away. Or do I right click and write to devices during the system busy process? Thanks Quote
Blackbird Posted Saturday at 05:43 PM Author Posted Saturday at 05:43 PM Nevermind looks like everything cleared on its own. Thanks Quote
paulbates Posted Saturday at 05:44 PM Posted Saturday at 05:44 PM I would leave it alone for longer. Do you have any of your devices set to "Blink on traffic"? If yes the devices led will blink regularly / repeatedly as the eisy does its work..you can look at that. You can also look at the PLM led, it should be blinking regularly/repeatedly if it's still updating You'll have green 1011 nodes for wireless devices. If you're down to just wireless devices with that icon, You'll want to gather them together if possible. One at a time, put them in "set" mode and right click and pick "restore device"... wait for it to finish and continue on. If you can't bring the wireless devices to the computer running the AC/Iox, it can take a while. 1 Quote
