5 hours ago5 hr I first lost connectivity between an existing Insteon 2477D, so I figured it was a bad switch and replaced it with a new one. When I try to connect my eisy to it, it comes up with an error message that says "Request Failed". If I shut down my Admin panel and restart it, I get a panel that pops up with " Device to be added" with the correct address for the switch that I am trying to add ... I'm stuck. Any advice?
4 hours ago4 hr I had similar problems replacing a switch last week. Seems the java console has some issues. Open the relatively new "UD Mobile" app on your smart phone and I bet you'll see the switch. Might have been able to see the old one there too. Edited 4 hours ago4 hr by gdntx
1 hour ago1 hr Author Well rebooting the Eisy did clear the "New Device to be added" pop up, but still unable to get it to link to the Eisy
