I used to use EZFlora but it blew up in a storm, I sense replaced with PG + OpenSprinkler, but then I came across several of them and EZIO8SA's in a box of used parts.

I don't really have a use for them now, I'm slightly tempted to swap out the OpenSprinkler for them as I don't use any of it's features and it's WiFi is flaky on my network but it's working.

Ideas how to use them? Being generic relays the EZIO8SA should be good for about anything I just need ideas.

Not 100% sure of the question. They can be added on the linking menu of iox. They are single band, power line only devices so may have signal flakiness problems of their own.

You can search google for the device name + "manual pdf" and see what the specs are. I believe all low voltage.

The EZIO8SA needs to be connected to its own 2412S PLM to be used. You will probably find it in the module list on the controller as a Compacta brand as that is the parent company. Maybe one of the two manufacturers names. SimpleHomeNet or Smartenit on the label itself.

Anything that requires a 24VAC or some low voltage signal to actuate is a good candidate for your surplus. You could use it for example to add water to a water feature when the water level gets to a certain level and keep it topped off. Another idea along a similar vein is for dispensing chemicals into your water feature to correct the pH level or something similar for automatic maintenance. You could in theory also inject fertilizer in a sprinkler line as needed for feeding your garden plants.
