Local Reference Functionality with Alexa Groups

Has anyone been able to get the local reference functionality with Alexa Groups to work with ISY scenes?

If you have Scene A and B in three different rooms, call them A1, B1, A2, B2 and A3 and B3, I'd like to be able to say "A on" in room 1 and activate Scene A1, "B on" in the same room to activate Scene B1. In room 2, say "A on" and have Scene A2 activate and so on.

There are Echo devices in each room assigned to each of the three groups.

I asked a similar question in late 2022 and it seemed light there was a solution for references to actual devices like lights and switches.
