March 9Mar 9 Hello, I'm trying to connect a 800 series Z-wave dongle to Eisy. All of the instructions I can find show Z-wave already listed on administrative counsel. Mine shows matter. It also says to turn on Z-wave in configuration mine is on auto. I tried turning it to on; saved and rebooted but it always go back to auto.I have tried inserting the USB dongle into eisy then rebooting eisy and rebooting Iox. I've done this on both admin counsel and UD mobile but nothing changes. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
March 9Mar 9 Do you know for a fact if the Zooz 800 series dongle is supported by UDI? I know the 700 is. Also, have you tried actually powering off the eisy (instead of just rebooting) after configuring zwave to on in the menu and inserting the dongle?
March 9Mar 9 Author I do not know if it is. I tried to get the UD version but it's sold out. I also tried to get the Zooz 700 series but it's discounted for the 800 series. I did try unplugging the eisy and waiting several minutes before restarting.
March 9Mar 9 Another thing: does your Configuration screen show a "Migrate to ZMatter Z-Wave" button? It should if it's configured to use a Zooz dongle. If not, try doing this from a browser:http://<your_IP_address>:8080/rest/zmatter/zwave/deactivateZMatterZWaveThen restart IoX
March 9Mar 9 Have you tried the deactivate url? If that doesn't help, you might need to open a ticket and ask if the Zooz 800 dongle is supported.
March 9Mar 9 Well it only rolls back the configuration from using the ZMatter dongle to generic Zooz. Let us know what UDI says about the Zooz 800 dongle.
March 9Mar 9 Author UD said the 800 series should work the only problem with Zooz is you can't back up and restore. They didn't point me towards directions though. I will ask again.
