Today I installed two SwitchLinc dimmers in a 3-way circuit. I added both of them to ISY device list. I did not link them using Smarthome's method. How do I link them using ISY? I searched the forum and wiki and found that I can link them by 'adding them to a scene'. I tried doing this and they are not linked even after adding them to a scene! Should I link the two switches using Smarthome's method? Please advice.

ISY Pro 2.7.15

So let me ask is the device listed in the ISY My Lighting table? If it is not then its not linked to the ISY and you need to get that done first.

No you don't want to link them the Smarthome way, its better to first link your switches to the ISY then use it to create all the Scene links after that.

Thank you. I did refer to these articles before asking. For some reason it did not work. I think I missed to do the 'copy attributes' part. It workes this time. Thanks for the great support.
